In English, "morning" typically covers the time from dawn until 12 PM.
It's different in Korea.
"아침" (morning) refers to the period from dawn until around mid-morning.
If it’s not morning but still before noon, what do we call that time?
In Korean, it’s referred to as "낮" (daytime). "낮" means the period after morning and before evening.
"저녁" (evening) is the time from when the sun starts to set until it becomes night, and "밤" (night) is the period from when it gets dark after sunset until it gets light again the next day with the sunrise.
And '오전' can refer to both 'A.M.' and 'forenoon,' while '오후' means 'afternoon' and also 'P.M.'
